FAQ

Where can you train me?

I can offer training in the privacy of my very own fully equipped personal training studio in Meopham (Kent) or depending on availability, can do home visits or outdoor training at a suitable recreational space local to you. I am also very lucky to have access to acres of private farmland also in Meopham to train across, ideal if you would prefer somewhere scenic yet very private to train.

Can you train me at my local gym?

Depending on the gyms terms and conditions of use.  Most have their own in-house PT’s and therefore do not allow outside PT’s in to train their members.  I am happy to train at your gym if they allow other PT’s in to train, however this will mean you will have to cover my entry cost to that gym.

Do you do home visits?

Yes depending on availability, please note that prices will vary depending on where you are located.

What do I need to wear?

Sports trainers are a must on your feet! The rest of your body I would recommend something comfy and easy to move around in.  Leggings, jogging pants or shorts and a t-shirt or vest on top.  Don’t forget to wrap up in layers during colder temperatures!

What else do I need to bring with me?

A bottle of water is essential and a towel is optional.

Can I train with someone?

Of course, if you would like to train with a friend, I offer partner or small group training sessions.  This will make your session cheaper if you evenly split the costs.

How long do the sessions last?

Sessions are for 1 hour.

How often should I exercise?

This depends on what your goals are and how much time in your current lifestyle that you can allocate.  The minimum you should exercise in order to start seeing any form of results is at least 3 times a week.

How will my progress be tracked?

At the initial consultation I will assess your current fitness levels, physical health and lifestyle.  Depending on your goals, your progress will be measured at set stages throughout the course of your programme.

When will I notice any changes?

The exact rate of weight loss varies in everybody and your results will be dependent upon a range of things to include; your starting weight, gender, metabolism and the type of training that you are doing. I typically track progress every 4 weeks to see realistic results. Short to long term goals will be set upon consultation.
